The Wright Group Acquires New Facility in Plain City Ohio

Crowley, LA (September 9, 2011) –The Wright Group is proud to announce its acquisition of a new state of the art manufacturing facility in Plain City, Ohio. The completion of this purchase underscores Wright’s ongoing commitment to provide the highest quality of service and innovation for its clients, while enhancing supply security and manufacturing flexibility in the event of natural disasters and other adverse events.

The new facility will add an additional 55,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehousing to its current 250,000 square foot facility in Crowley, Louisiana. At the new site the Company will employ 80 plus workers within the next two years. The facility has state of the art liquid and dry blending capacity with additional space on the property to expand if necessary. Also, this facility will house an applications R&D center for the development of functional foods. The facility is circle U Kosher, Halal, cGMP, and will be FSSC 22000 certified before the end of 2011.
